We are frequent travellers to India and, and have now found a place to stay for a full 2 weeks with countless subjects to paint, whilst enjoying wonderful hospitality. Our hotel is Ahilya Fort in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, on the sacred Narmada River. These are some of my paintings from our most recent trips. I also started painting a series of colourful Indian people during lockdown that I have continued. I never cease to love the colourful scenes whilst travelling in India, although sometimes it is difficult to paint surrounded by curious onlookers. I become absorbed by the life that is going on around me, so many more memories than a photograph.
